Going South

Follow me as I adapt to southern living and see the world one weekend at a time

Notes

Have you ever tried Ethiopian food before? Because I was introduced to it for the first time this weekend in DC, and it was phenomenal. I know it might look a little weird, and quite honestly I couldn’t tell you what many of the things on the plate were, but I do know they were all quite tasty.
It was a combo of vegetable and meet dishes served with a sourdough flatbread. No utensils required because you just rip off pieces of the bread and scoop up the good stuff. Ethiopian is apparently very popular in DC, but I had never heard of any places in Dallas. The owner of the restaurant assured me there were some places in Dallas, so I checked it out and found a few! I will have to introduce some of my friends down here to it now.
